My mechanic had finally screwed up his track car - a Toyota Corolla SEG AE100 with a 4AGE 20 valves silver top engine. The car initially having issue with coolant consumption but he wanted to test the reliability of a Toyota engine , he pushed the car/engine to the limit and did not give a shit of the problem. 

After weeks of coolant filling and harsh driving, he gave me a call telling me that the engine produced engine knocking noise. He revved the engine hardly and due to courage act, the engine stalled and would not able to crank anymore. After compression test done, all of his 4 pistons did not produce any pressure. In short, he fucked up the engine. 😂

Since there was a engine knocking issue, my mechanic first checked the ignition section and ECU. Ignition came out working fine but ECU was an issue. Once he opened up the ECU, he noticed that some capacitors and diodes were burnt. This indicated that the ECU is no longer able to work as expected and this maybe the cause for the engine knocking. He repaired the ECU and even replaced with another working ECU; but the engine still not able to crank. 

With this in mind, he had no choice but to disassemble the engine and hoping nothing serious happen in the engine like bent valves or wore pistons/walls. Fortunately, lady luck was with him this time. There was only one problem seen which was a wore gasket. This explained the coolant consumption as well as lost of engine compression. 

My mechanic was used to replace gasket, so this was a walk in a park to him. In order to increase the complexity of his task and since he already removed the top part of the engine, he cleaned and polished the engine cylinder head and a top overhaul.

However he wanted something more after he saw what KC and me done to the engine bay and of cause with some "advice" from me to push him to beautify his 4AGE 20 valves silver top. He did come out some ideas and asking for advice so ended up we chose the one with more effort to paint.
